This Privacy Policy explains what information the mobile game Quiet Reef Runner ("the game", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
a. Information collected automatically for advertising. When ads are shown, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may collect and process device information such as a mobile advertising identifier, IP address, device type and OS version, and general interaction data. This is used to serve, secure, and measure ads. See Google's policies below.
b. Purchase information. If you buy an in-app product, the transaction is handled by Google Play Billing or Apple in-app purchase services. The game receives only product and entitlement information needed to grant and restore the purchase — not your card number or billing address.
c. Online features (leaderboard and account notices). When online leaderboard features initialize, the game uses Unity Gaming Services Authentication to create or restore an anonymous player identifier (no email or account login is required). Unity Gaming Services stores the nickname you choose together with your best score and time and may process technical data needed to provide and protect the service. Your chosen nickname is public on the leaderboard, so please do not use personal information as your nickname. If Unity provides a regulatory or account-related notification for your player account, the game retrieves and displays its message and Case ID.
d. On-device data. Game progress, coins, unlocked items, best results, and settings are saved locally on your device. The game also stores which account notices you have acknowledged so they are not repeatedly shown. This local data is removed when you uninstall the game.
We use Google AdMob to display interstitial and rewarded ads. Where required by law (for example, for users in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland), the game presents a consent choice using Google's User Messaging Platform before requesting personalized ads. You can decline personalized ads; the game remains fully playable. You can open Settings > Privacy & Data at any time to view this policy and, when required for your region, reopen Ad Privacy Choices. You can also reset advertising identifiers in your device settings.
The following third parties may process data as described in their own privacy policies:
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers listed above to the extent needed to run the features you use, or where required by law.
On-device data remains until you clear it or uninstall the game. Leaderboard entries (nickname and best result) and the anonymous player account are retained while the online service is active or until an applicable deletion request is completed. Advertising, service, and purchase data are retained by Google, Unity, or Apple according to their own policies.
The game is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a way that requires parental consent. If you believe a child has provided information that should be removed, please contact us and we will address it.
We rely on the security measures of Google and Unity for data they process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information.
Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Their transfers are governed by their respective privacy policies.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
